This FETAC programme is designed for all employees, students, managers, supervisors, safety representatives and self-employed who will be responsible for Health & Safety in the workplace. This course will give a foundation in which to build knowledge of the Health and Safety issues in today’s business world.
 
COURSE CONTENT
Learners who successfully complete this module will
• Understand the concepts of health and safety
• Recognise the factors that influence health, safety and welfare
• Apply the principles and procedures of health and safety to the workplace
• Understand the importance of hazard identification and risk assessment
• Promote safe working practices and procedures
• Be familiar with core legislation in the area of safety, health and welfare
 
DURATION: 14 weeks
FEE: €450 (INCLUDING EXAM FEES)
TIMES: Wednesday7.00p.m.-9.00p.m.
ENROLMENT DATE: Monday 21st January 2008 7.00p.m. - 9.00p.m.
